Developing the New Creation Lesson 55

2Cor.5:17(Amp) says, "Therefore, if any person is ingrafted in Christ Jesus (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old previous moral and Spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."  Until we have Revelation from God's Word and His Holy Spirit, about who and what this new creation being is, we will only be religious in our thinking.  We acknowledge God, but can't truly understand what He has done is us through Jesus.  The new creation being has been restored back to God's original intent for His children.

What is this new creation?  What is the Life that Jesus came to deliver us into and what is the death He came to deliver us from?  When compared to how the early Church functioned, today's Church seems to fall short.  The Super-natural was what grew that Church into a great and awesome Body of power.  We've been taught that those things were "only for the early Church" and that these things "have passed away."

Heb.13:8(Amp) says, "Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is always the same, yesterday, today, Yes, and forever to the ages."  If Jesus did it during His earthly ministry, then He still does it today.  How have we been talked out of what the new creation man/woman was made to be?  We've allowed ourselves to be reduced to mere men and woman, who walk only in the carnal realm and according to the unrenewed minds of man?

Who is this new creation being, that God Himself now lives in our newborn spirit?  The Same Father Who did the works when He dwelt in Jesus, is the Same Father Who dwells in us now, in order to do the same works.  We might have changed, but He has not changed.

Will we dare to go against the religious order which tells us that we are only "old sinners saved by Grace" and believe what our Heavenly Father says we are?  Have we become old wine skins that cannot contain the new wine of this new creation man/woman?  The power to the new creation doesn't live in the flesh of men/women, but in the new spirit of men/women.  All that we're seeking after in God, is already in our new creation spirit.  This isn't a man-made religion, but is a Heavenly citizenship of God's Kingdom.

I wonder if God's angels look upon the sons and daughters of God and ask why we're always in trouble and in distress, instead of breaking loose of our bondage.  Is God no longer a Super-natural Being Who created all things?  Or, is He like the gods of other religions, Who can't do anything until after we die?  Is He religion or reality in our lives?  Do we truly trust Him to do what He said He will do or are we just deceiving ourselves by our own actions?

God never left us to our own devices, but has filled us with Himself, in order to bring forth His Glory into this earth.  Jesus said, "If you cannot believe Me for what I say, at least believe Me for the work's sake."  What works are we portraying, that would cause others to believe in God?  We don't know who we've become when we were born-again.  We know what others say we are, but not what God says we are.  Most of what we do in our walk with God, could be done without the Holy Spirit or God's Word.  We comply with our creed and it's rules, just like the scribes and Pharisees who tried retaining the Law after Jesus fulfilled it.  This doesn't mean we're not saved or born-again, but we've never come to the True knowledge of who we've been created to be in Christ Jesus.

Babies don't simply become adults because they get older, but they must grow into adulthood.  Their bodies grow, but they might remain immature. We were created and supplied with everything we would ever need, in our new creation spirit.  We must grow beyond the carnal way of doing and thinking, in order to mature into what we were created to be.  The flesh and it's carnal way of thinking, has dulled the spirit, holding us back from who we are.

The potential birthed in us when we were born-again, is the same potential the early Church had.  What is the depth of this potential that God's sons and daughters could reach?  Are we really born of the Super-natural for here and now or is it only for after we die and go to Heaven?  Jesus said in John6:63(Amp), "It is the Spirit Who gives Life (He is the Life-Giver); the flesh conveys no benefit whatever (there is no profit in it). The Words (Truths) that I have been speaking to you are Spirit and Life."  The Life in our spirit is for both here and throughout eternity.  This God kind of Life is already working and living now, in and through us and grows as we feed and understand the Truth of God's Word.

God says in Prov.4:20-23(Amp), "My son, attend to My Words; consent and submit to My sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are Life to those who find them; healing and health to all their flesh. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the Springs of Life."  Jesus went on to say in Mark4:24(Amp), "Be careful what you are hearing. The measure of thought and study you give to the Truth you hear, will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you-and more besides will be given to you who hear."

The only measure of virtue and knowledge that will come back to us, will be the Truth we hear.  No virtue or knowledge will come back to us, from hearing, "these things have passed away, " because this isn't Truth.  We will simply remain carnal and without knowledge, when we don't hear the Truth.  2Tim.3:16(Amp) says, "Every scripture is God-Breathed, given by His Inspiration and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, and for training in righteousness, in holy living in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose and action."

Many things we hear today, even though they might come from the Word, aren't ministered in Truth and Spirit.  We must be careful what we hear and how we hear it.  God doesn't deal with His sons and daughters, like He dealt with Israel as servants.  They were only flesh and blood, and not born-again spirits, so God needed to deal with them by the Laws that governed their flesh.  We are Spirit filled, Spirit born children of God.  God Lives in us, but only Lived with them.  The very Power that performed all the miracles for the Israelites, now lives in us.

We've lived below what God birthed us to be, without even knowing it.  When God brought the First Adam into life, He gave Adam dominion and authority over all the works of His Hands and crowned him with Glory and Honor.  When God brought the Last Adam Jesus (in Whom we now live and reside) into the earth, He gave Him dominion over everything, including the devil.  Jesus prayed in John17:22,23(Amp), "I have given to them glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are One."

Many say, "God would not share His Glory with anyone," but we aren't just "anyone," we are One with Him.  Jesus continued in Verse 23, saying, "I in them and You in Me, in order that they may know and definitely recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them even as You have Loved Me."  This isn't sharing His Glory, but crowning us with it and in it, together with Jesus Himself.  What is this Glory and Honor capable of doing in our lives, if we will only accept and live them out in this world, like Jesus did?

Developing the New Creation Lesson 54

2Cor.5:17(Amp) says, "Therefore, if any person is ingrafted in Christ Jesus (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creation altogether), the old previous moral and Spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."

We need the knowledge from God's Word and the Holy Spirit, to reveal who the new creation man/woman is.  Man and carnal knowledge have tried explaining it to us, but if we only remain carnal in our understanding, then we will not know who we've become in Christ Jesus.  The new creation is a spirit being, made in God's Own Image and Likeness.  The new man/woman Spiritually abides in Jesus, but we live in a natural body, like Jesus did during His earthly ministry.

The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write in 2Cor.5:1-2, where he reveals that our flesh and blood bodies are houses where our spirit lives, while we're still on this earth.  The real you is the new creation man/woman, who was born from the dead spirit, joined together with Jesus and made Alive, through faith in Jesus.  We were separated from God, because of Adam's sin.  The Last Adam Jesus paid that which was brought upon us by Adam, by His Sacrifice on the cross and when we put faith and accept His Sacrifice, we were cleansed and Redeemed by His Precious Blood and created new in Him.

The part of us that was made a new creation, is our spirit and not our flesh.  We need to learn who we've become, through the Revelation knowledge by the Word and the Holy Spirit.  The carnal mind and flesh can't understand nor reveal anything to us, concerning our place in God our Father.  Religion is man's idea of what this means and most teach that we can't know what this means, until we go to Heaven.

We keep trying to arrive at and walk in the Spirit, according to our own ideas of what this really is.  One would think we could see how we're living far below what the Word says we are now.  When God brought man into existence, he was a being that confounded all of creation, according to Psalm8:3-6(Amp).  David, who saw by the Spirit, what God had done when creating man, was astonished, saying, "When I view and consider Your Heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established. What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of earth born man that You care for him? Yet You have made him but a little lower than God, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet."

This was and is, God's original intent and purpose for His children and mankind.  When the Psalmist stopped to consider all the wonders of God's creation, he asked God, "What is man that You have considered him above all that You have created and made."  He saw creation in all it's glory and asked God, "Who or what is man, that You have placed him over all these wondrous works?"

Can you image getting up in the morning, going outside to see the glory of the morning sunlight, knowing that you were and are more important than these.  God didn't create these things for Himself, but He created them for us.  We are the most important thing in God's heart and Kingdom.  We've believed that God is displeased and disapproves of the most important thing in all His creation.  God's great heart created us, so we could be His family and we would be His greatest joy.

We think salvation is just going to Heaven when we die, when it really means that now through Jesus, we are God's children like He desired from the beginning.  God can now dwell with us and we cam now dwell with Him.  Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, saying in John17:22(Amp), "I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are One."  The same glory and honor with which God made man in the beginning has now been restored to us again through Jesus.  The Psalmist tells us that, "Man was more glorious in God's eyes and heart, than all of creation."

We've lost sight of how Loved we are and how our Father sees and thinks of us.  We were so important to Him, that He died and shed His Own Blood, in order to Redeem, pay for and received back into this place of Glory and honor in His sight.  We need to stop seeing ourselves and thinking about ourselves, before we were born-again.  Jesus restored us back into God's favor and Glory.  He has placed us back into the original intent God had when He created man, in His Own Image and Likeness.

Eve was born of Adam's flesh and bone, and the two are one.  Jesus said, "I have given them the glory and honor which You have given to Me, that they may be one even as We are One."  The Holy Spirit speaks through Paul in Eph.5:32(Amp), about the relationship between a husband and wife, saying, "This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning the Revelation of Christ and the Church."

We've lost sight of this mystery and the Revelation of "The two are One in Him."  We can't let the world's idea about this new creation, to taint the thinking of our heart.  This is the true Love of God in our lives today through Jesus.  No one who loves his wife, would ever want her to be sick, hungry, put out of his sight, or to believe she wasn't loved.  If he truly loved her, then he would die for her.  How much more does our Husband in God, Love us?  The devil has lied to us about our Heavenly Father and has told us that, "God could never love you."  We can't believe his lies, but we must believe God's Word instead.  We have a marriage covenant with Him and it is "Forever settled in Heaven and on earth."
