Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth, and everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
Very few believers understand the majesty that God did through Jesus, when He raised Him from the dead. We've developed faith in the remission of sin, but haven't reached much further, in our walk as God's sons and daughters. The Curse, death and separation from God, didn't occur until Adam's sinning. It was the sin that brought about misery and separation from God and the Intention He had for His family. Sin wasn't just sexual, thievery or the things we look upon in life. These things are only the fruit of the seed of sin. The real sin was what Adam did, which resulted in mankind's being separated from God in his spirit. God is our Life and through Adam, we entered spiritual death.
Spiritual death doesn't mean that we no longer exist, but that we exist without God, Who is Life. A dead spirit can't be righteous or holy, because death had removed that spirit from God's Presence. Ephesians 2:12,13 (Amplified) says, "Remember, that you were at that time, separated, living apart from Christ (excluded from all part of Him), utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and stranger with no share in the sacred compacts of the Messianic Promise, with no knowledge of or right in God's agreements (His covenants); And you had no hope (no Promise), you were in the world without God."
Paul continues in Verse 13, saying, "But now in Christ Jesus, you who were once so far away, through and by and in the Blood of Christ have been brought near." When we have faith the Blood and Sacrifice of Christ, our sins have been removed and we "become near." We've been restored as God's family once again. Isaiah 59:2 (Amplified) tells us, "But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His Face from you, so that He will not hear." It was the sin in the Garden, that caused the separation between God and us. Jesus removed the original sin of Adam and has placed us back into the place where God made us to be, in the beginning.
When we have faith in the total remission of sin, we're able to develop our faith again, in the covenant and Promise God made to Adam, prior to his sinning. Through Jesus, we have a better place in our Father, as heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Himself. As Gentiles, we never had the covenant of the Law, where we could offer sacrifice animals and be temporarily covered, like the Hebrews had. We were without hope, without covenant and without God, until we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Through Jesus, we are a new creation, a people God has cleansed by His Own Blood. He has declared us and made us righteous and has restored us back in family relations with Himself. We could never obtain the Promises of healing, peace, Blessings, fellowship, Wisdom and sanctification on our own, but they've been restored back to us, in Jesus.
God has restored His Original Intent of family back to us, in our new creation man/woman. Everything God gave to Adam, has been restored back to us. Adam's Blessing wasn't for when he got to Heaven, because he walked by Heaven's Blessing in this natural realm. Adam walked with God as his instructor and Guide, just like the Last Adam, Jesus did. Jesus showed us how we not only can walk, but are expected to walk, which is naturally Super-natural. We were to be a Super-natural people, who are living in a natural body and who have Heaven's authority here on this earth. This is what Jesus demonstrated, when He walked in a natural Body here with God.
Through Jesus, God reckoned our old sinful body to be already dead, because the wages of sin is death. We were crucified with Christ, so that we can now live a sin free life with Him, in God's Presence. We've never fully appreciated the fullness of what Jesus has done, because of the blindness that has come upon us, by the god of this world. Satan has worked overtime, to keep Truth hidden from God's family.
God's full Revelation is being seen by more and more of His children, in this Year of Understanding. The time of restoration is at hand. The entrance of His Word brings Light and now the time of Light has come into the spirits of God's people and the Blessing in all it's power, is taking hold in the Church. We're no longer depending upon our own right standing with God, but in faith, we're fully depending upon the righteousness we've obtained through our union with Jesus. And, He is Righteous all the time!
We shouldn't be offended when someone is more developed in their faith, than we are. This should be a challenge for us to develop more too. I don't believe we can have too much faith in God, like some say. We have faith to the place of our understanding and only that far. The more we understand our right standing with God, the stronger our faith is in His Promises and covenant, through Jesus.
Many believe these Spiritual Blessings will only come upon us, when we die and go to Heaven. Adam and Jesus, both walked in nothing except the Spiritual Blessing. Everything Adam and Eve had and everything they were, was from the Spirit, including his natural body. We're now like Adam was before his transgression, because of the Spirit. We've received the same Spiritual Blessing in every aspect of our lives.
We've walked for so long in the same natural concepts the world has, so we know very little about our spiritual existence. We've been taught that our new birth is determined by rules and man-made laws, which have governed Christianity for years. The new covenant family of God has rewritten the Law to include them. All of the Laws and Blessings are fulfilled through Jesus Christ, and we've been made free from the Law of Sin and of Death. We're under the "New Law of the Spirit of Life which is in Christ Jesus," according to Romans 8:2.
We live in the flesh, but our Life isn't in the flesh, but is in the Spirit. Everything we'll ever need is in the Spirit and all we have is from the Spirit. Jesus has brought us back to God's Original Intent for His family and "He has supplied our every need by His riches in Glory in and through Christ Jesus." This isn't wishful thinking, but is exactly what it says. Every need that can come upon us in this world, is now being supplied by His riches in Glory. After Adam's fall, the flow of these riches was all but stopped in the earth, but now we've received Jesus, these riches have been released in the Spirit realm for us.
God found men of faith, in order to begin a new seed of family and Blessing into the earth. This Blessing was in the Spirit and was transferred again, bringing life into the earth for God's covenant people. All natural Blessings came to them from God's Spirit and this is True today, for those who are in Jesus. The world can't stop God's Blessing and Provision for His family, now that we've become born-again and new creations in Christ. This is how Adam walked in the Garden, before being deceived by the serpent. Everything Adam had, both natural and spiritual, was from the Spirit. The earth was from the Spirit, the food Adam and Eve ate was from the Spirit and the bodies they lived in were from the Spirit. The Spirit provided every need.
The Father wants to do for us, like He did for Adam and Jesus. As our Father, He wants to provide for and take responsibility for His Own family, like any other father would do. God never intended for the world to provide for us. By His Spirit and Promise, God would meet our every need according to His riches in Glory. This Glory, is the same glory Jesus spoke about in John 17:22 (Amplified), where He prayed, "I have given to them the Glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are One."
This is the same glory the Psalmist writes about in Psalm 8:4-5 (Amplified), saying, "What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of earth born man that You care for him. Yet You have made him a little lower than God, or Heavenly beings, and You have crowned him with Glory and honor." Paul writes about this glory in Philippians 4:18 (Amplified). It's the riches of the Blessing before Adam's fall and these riches are in and from the Glory of the Presence of God in His people again, in Jesus.
