Lesson 133 The New Creation

2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified) says, "Therefore, if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ Jesus (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed. Behold, the fresh and new has come."
Since God has created a new creature who is a new species of being through Christ Jesus, it would be prudent for us to find out who we have become and to forget about who we were."  We continue reading God's Word, with a sense of being judged as sinners, when God has said that this isn't true.  Of course, there is still sin on the earth and weakness of our flesh, even after being born-again.  If we are to do what the Word says and the Holy Spirit instructs us to do, then we "outgrow" the sin nature of the flesh.
1Peter 2:2 (Amplified) says, "Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto (completed) salvation."  We should grow into maturity and adulthood by God's Word.  We must train a new baby to function like they should, because they don't even know how to be human beings.  They were born a human being, but have no concept of what that truly is.  We must teach them everything needed to function on this earth.
There are things we must teach babies in love, that will govern the rest of their lives.  We didn't beat our children in order to teach them.  We guided them.  They should never be raised or governed in fear, but in love.  They respond to encouragement and praise while learning, and will excel in what they're being taught.  I never scolded my children saying, "You were so bad and I had to change your diapers."  I encourage and train them into growing beyond that point in life.
As Christians in God's family, we are continuously being reminded of who were were as babies, instead of being instructed how to behave like adults.  I no longer need to remind my children, "Don't touch the hot stove," because they have learned what that means.  As we grow up, we operate in things we learned from childhood and we no longer need to be reminded how to walk.
We have been born-again and have become new creations.  There are things we must learn, about who we have now become.  Any child born of this earth, doesn't know anything about being a human being.  We've been born-again into the Kingdom of God and into the realm of the Spirit, and we know nothing about who we are to be.  Even a child born into the earth, only knows what it is taught and raised in.  They come from different homes and parents, and are not always given sound instructions that others receive.  Some children grow into adulthood, without growing into maturity.  Every child will grow up into being an adult, so it's not a matter of their being adults, but what kind of adult will they be?
The same goes for Christians.  It's not about whether we're children of God or whether we'll be adults, but what kind of adult will we be?  Will we grow up into mature sons of God and be of us to Him here on earth?  Or, will we continue to remain children who reject training in maturity and be of little use to God here on earth?  This doesn't determine the Father's Love for anyone, because He loved us before we were saved.  This is more about our working in our Father's Love and doing the Father's will.
Babies who never learned differently, grow up to be selfish (and usually angry too).  They expect everything to be done for them and don't care about doing things for others.  We find this in the Church too.  We look to our own comfort and whether the church building is comfortable or not.  We are content with only the "milk" and only care about whether the milk was heated just the way we like it.
In these last days before Jesus returns, we must not only become adult Christians, but also must become mature Christians.  We've become so comfortable in the world and have left the Truth of the Spirit.  We have left the super-natural realm of our new Kingdom and have become complacent in this natural Christianity.  We don't develop our faith in the super-natural Spirit realm that we are part of, but have accepted the natural state of affairs.  In this new Kingdom we've been born into, we are supposed to bring this super-natural Presence of God into this natural state of life.  We must first learn like newborn babies, what it is we are to mature into.
There are "career criminals" developed in this world, while some people feel entitled to the things others worked for, and others are posturing for their place in upper society.  Many have sought our professions and careers that benefit others.  In this new creation, we all have the same rights or right standing with God and we all have the same Teacher Who is the Holy Spirit.  Maturity is available to all who seek after it, but what is maturity in this new Kingdom?  Does it simply mean what others think, that we get older?  Or, is it maturing into adulthood in age?
Many Christians have been born-again for years and have failed to mature into sonship knowledge.  My boys were sons when they were birthed into this world, but were much use to me on the ranch, until they matured into manhood.  One must first seek to understand what is expected of a "son" and then allow the Holy Spirit to bring us to this place.
We have left the realm of the Spirit and God's Kingdom and have been willing to live by things governing the world.  The Word says that we "are in this world, but are not of this world."  Many in God's family today, have lost sight of the super-natural things of our new Kingdom.  God is using His family to bring His identity to the world again through signs and wonders.  This part of being in God's family, is natural and normal for all who are new creatures in Christ.
This super-natural is perfectly natural for the new creation and is what makes this creation new.  It's not the same thing that used to be, but an entirely new creation.  The very nature, spirit, character, ability and Image of our New Father has been given to us.  But, in order to develop faith in who He has made us to be, we must know Who He is and What He is about.  We previously learned about salvation and how it is (and was) a super-natural invasion of Heaven into this earth.  It was to restore all satan corrupted; spirit, soul, and body.  It was to return contact between God and mankind on a human level and allow the parent realm of the Spirit to restore the Father's original intent.
It was never God's intent that we should be sick, hungry, oppressed, diseased or controlled by anyone or anything.  From the beginning, God intended for man to be in the Family business of "God and Sons" to ruled and maintain the universe and all the Father made for us.  Jesus understood God's will to restore everything to the place God willed.
When Jesus opened blind eyes, He was only bring back God's will for that person.  When He raised the dead to "fulfill the length of their days on earth," Jesus was simply operating in God's will for mankind again.  When Jesus cleansed the leper and cast out demons, it was God's Own original intent for mankind, now as well as before the fall of Adam.  It was never God's will for calamity to befall His children.
God's original intent of salvation is found in Luke 4:18-19.  As the First Preacher of this Gospel of the Kingdom, Jesus taught what God's original intent was.  He preached the total restoration of all things.   As new creation people, we are to restore order to everything satan had taken control over and bring back into order the very Justice of God in that restoration.  Even the earth had fallen under the curse through Adam, but now the blessing is restored through Jesus.  God is using the new creation people to restore the blessing again.
Well meaning have cautioned us about "being zealous in our pursuit of God."  They say we must be careful and not become "too far out there."  Every time we venture beyond the boundaries someone else has set, they will try to contain us to those boundaries.  Years ago, people said, "Man cannot fly," but the Wright Brothers refused to be contained.  "Men will never go to the moon," they said, but man pushed aside those boundaries and we're now planning to go to Mars!  Many say, "You cannot heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, stop the storms, see and hear into the spirit realm or bring God's will to bear here on earth."  But, some refuse to be contained within the boundaries others and are reaching into the limitless boundaries of our new Kingdom and our new King.
Remember, "With God all things are still possible and nothing is impossible to he who believes."  We must not be confined by the opinions of others, but must only believe and watch those limitations be lifted from you.  We must be led by the Spirit of God, not the reasonings of man.  We've been birthed into the Super-natural realm, where our origin is (and was) God's original intent for His children.  We are co-laborers together with Him.  The business of "God and Sons" is back in business.
