Lesson 140 The New Creation

2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified) says, "Therefore, if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ Jesus (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."
The new creation being that we've become, has everything except a glorified body.  We're here for one purpose on this earth and that's to increase the Kingdom of God.  Genesis 1:28 (Amplified) says, "And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it (using all its vast resources in the service of God and man) and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth."
We've been awaiting something to come, that has already taken place in the life of the believer.  Jesus has even fulfilled all of the Feast Days, including the Feast of Tabernacles, that "are required," according to Leviticus 23:1-33.  All of these set feast will continue to occur in this natural realm, just like they have been.  But, in the life of a Christian family, these were are are fulfilled even now.  1Corinthians 6:19 (Amplified) says, "Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives withing you, Whom you have received (as a Gift) from God?"   You are not your own.  All of these feats are yet to be fulfilled in the natural realm, but are in Jesus, already true in the believer.  He has become our sin Offering, our First Fruits, our Wave Offering, our Sabbath (or Rest), our Pentecost, and our Feast of Trumpets that has called us out of death into Life.  The long awaited Feast of Tabernacles has already become a reality in the believer.  God is now dwelling in this tabernacle of flesh and bone, as one in us.
Through the ages, we've witnessed the fulfilling of these feasts, being brought to pass in the earth like God said they would.  The Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled in this natural world in Acts 2:1 (Amplified), which says,
And when the day of Pentecost had fully come they were all assembled together in one place; When suddenly there came a sound from Heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and if filled the whole house in which they were sitting."
The time of this feast is still in effect on earth, in the time table of "earth time."  The earth and its people are still involved with this "last" fulfilled feast.  The next feast day the earth will see with the natural man, is Trumpets.  Leviticus 23:24 (Amplified) says, "Say to the Israelites, on the first day of the seventh month (almost October) you shall observe a day of solemn (Sabbatical) rest, a memorial day announced by blowing of trumpets, a holy (called) assembly."  This is a feast that all the earth will know and hear about.  As new creation people, we have heard this in our spirit and have received this "called forth assembly."
Paul wrote to the churches about this in the Epistles.  He wrote in 1Corinthians 1:2 (Amplified), "To the Church (assembly) of God which is in Corinth, to those consecrated and purified and made holy in Christ Jesus, (who are) selected and called to be saints (God's people) together with all those who in any place call upon and give honor to the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours."
Paul also wrote in Ephesians 2:6 (Amplified) saying, "And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together (giving us joint seating with Him) in the Heavenly sphere (by virtue of our being) in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One)."  The fulfilling of the Feast of Trumpets is yet to come and will be for all to hear and see.  There's been so much controversy about this, throughout the years, but it remains the Truth of what God has declared "is to come."  Paul wrote about the Feast of Trumpets to the Church of Corinth saying, in 1Corinthians 15:51-52 (Amplified), "Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an even decreed by the hidden purpose or Council of God). We shall not all fall asleep (in death) but we shall all be changed (transformed) In a moment, in the Twinkling of an Eye, at the (sound of the) last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead (in Christ) will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay) and we shall be changed (transformed)."
This same message is given to God's people in 1Thessalonians 4:15-18 (Amplified), which says, "For this we declare unto you by the Lord's Own Word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede (into His Presence) or have previously fallen asleep (in Him in death). For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the Trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first."  Verses 17-18 go on, "Then we, the living ones who remain (on the earth) shall simultaneously be caught up along with (the resurrected dead) in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of eternities) we shall be with the Lord Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these Words."
We have already become "the called out ones," we have already become citizens of God's Kingdom, and we have already been seated with Him in our new creation spirit.  We have now become temples or tabernacles of the Living God.  Our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, who have already died the natural death of this body, will "ascend into God's Presence," at the sound of the trumpet.  Those of us here, who are awaiting the sound of that trumpet of God signalling the "ones called out" will enter into His Presence then.  Our body is not our own and is God's temple that was bought and paid for by the Blood of Jesus, will also be taken out of this earth.  It doesn't make a difference whether we are alive or in the grave, because our body will "transform into His glory."
John writes in 1John 3:2 (Amplified), "Beloved, we are (even here and) now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be (hereafter), but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall (as God's children) resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He (really) is."  1Corinthians 15:51 (Amplified) says we, "Shall be changed (transformed) at the last trumpet."
The actual fulfilling of this Feast is rapidly approaching, on this earth.  Some refer to it as, "the rapture," some completely dismiss the idea altogether, some have different interpretations about this even, but one thing is certain:  IT WILL TAKE PLACE.  The above scripture directs us to, "comfort one another with these Words" and it's a great comfort to me that Jesus is returning just like He foretold.  It's also of great comfort to me, that my loved ones who have already gone to be with Him in spirit, will be raised from the grave and become "incorruptible" from death's grip on earth.  It's bonus that we (the called out ones) will receive a new body, like Jesus' glorified Body.  It's truly a bonus, too, that we will be completed in His Presence forever.
The Feast of Tabernacles is made true in our spirit, because God Himself is presently living in us and walking in us.  When the trumpet of the archangel sounds, we will be in the fullness of His Presence (spirit, soul, and body).  We will be complete in Him.  Now that we see how we are actually "one with Him," we should recall Jesus' prayer from John 17:22-23 (Amplified) where He says, "I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they be one (even) as We are One I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one."
