Genesis 1:26-27,31 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (in Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female he created them."
Verse 31 goes on, "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day."
God finished creating mankind and everything else He made, and He was pleased with and approved it all. This was God's Original Intent for His man and family, as well as the earth and everything in it, and He approved it. God created everything with seed to replenish itself, for as long as the earth and mankind existed. God had no need to create anything more than His finished work, until 2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified), which says, "Therefore if any person is ingrafted in Christ (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creation altogether); the old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."
God didn't simply "fix" the old man and his nature by forgiveness. He actually created a new creature. We're not just forgiven sinners, but we're an entirely new species of being that never before existed in all creation. This new creation man/woman is now in the original state of being and creation. We're eternal beings, just like our Heavenly Father and we're immortal beings, like our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul writes about our immortal body or "house", in 2Corinthians 5:1-2 (Amplified) saying, "For we know that if this tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building (a house), not made with hands eternal in the heavens. Here indeed, in this present abode (body), we sigh and groan inwardly, because we yearn to be clothed over (we yearn to put on our celestial body) like a garment to be fitted out with our heavenly dwelling."
This celestial body is immortal and our new creation spirit is eternal. We'll live with our Heavenly Father, in His Presence for eternity, like He intended from the beginning. Our full inheritance in Jesus consists of what God has for us, in this new creation family. We haven't received our celestial body yet, but God has already provided everything we will need, even now in this body.
Through Jesus, God has provided everything we need, even in this fallen earth and even over the devil and all his fallen angels. The power of redemption through Jesus, which is now provided by God's Grace, is sufficient for every need and for everything God's Original Plan for mankind included. Paul writes about our salvation in Ephesians 2:8 (Amplified), saying, "For it is be free Grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment) and made partakers of Christ's salvation, through your faith; And this salvation is not of yourselves (of your own doing), it came not through your own striving, but is the Gift of God."
God's Grace has restored the Original Intent He had for His family, at the beginning. God's Grace or unmerited favor, has provided our complete salvation, without our having to do anything to earn it, except to believe what Jesus has accomplished in His Sacrifice for us. Our salvation is a free Gift of Grace, but it depends on our faith in Jesus and His finished work. Our mortal body is subject to death, because of Adam's fall. Jesus provided healing and restoration to our natural bodies, while we're still living in it and He provided eternal health for after we leave it. This is all provided by Grace and received by faith in this Grace. Remember, Ephesians 2:8 (Amplified) says, "It came not through our own striving, but is the Gift of God."
Religion has us focusing so much on the things we've done wrong, causing us to lose sight of all the things that Jesus did right. We've put more faith in our lack of ability, than in His Own ability. Jesus depended on the "Father within Me Who does the works," than His Own ability, during His earthly ministry. It was the Father in Jesus, Who did all the works that Jesus did. Jesus simply lived by the Grace that the Father gave Him. Jesus was born without sin and was therefore, in Grace during His entire earthly walk.
We're part of God's new creation family and are born or created, without sin. We've been granted the same favor and Grace, that Jesus walked in. John 1:16-17 (Amplified) says, "For out of His fullness (abundance), we have all received (all had a share and were all supplied with), one Grace after another and Spiritual Blessing upon Spiritual Blessing and even favor upon favor and Gift heaped upon Gift. For while the Law was given through Moses, Grace (unearned, undeserved favor) and Spiritual Blessing and Truth came through Jesus Christ."
These favors, Grace, Spiritual Blessings, and Truth, came to us from God's fullness, in order to supply us with the Original Intentions God had for His family. The authority and dominion that God gave to the First Adam, has been restored to an even higher level, by the Last Adam Jesus Christ.
We've been completely redeemed by Jesus' Sacrifice and by God's Grace, which has made us holy, sanctified, consecrated and perfect by the Lamb of God. God Himself has taken up residence within this house or physical body, which Paul calls, "the temple of God," in 1Corinthians 6:19 (Amplified) saying, "Do you not know that your body is the temple, the very sanctuary of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received as a Gift from God? you are not your own."
It's been difficult for God's people to walk in our redemption, because we haven't understood the power of God's Grace. "We are saved by Grace through faith," and it's the Gift of God. Through Jesus, Grace has provided everything God's children will ever need here and hereafter, but it must be received and appropriated by faith in the finished work of Jesus and not of ourselves. We've misunderstood faith and Grace, which has left them dormant in the lives of the Church. Faith can only receive what Grace has already provided, but, "WITHOUT FAITH, it is impossible to please God, according to Hebrews 11:6.
Why is it impossible to please God, without faith? Because, everything He has provided, must be received by faith. This includes our salvation or being born-again. The Word tells us that, "God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Son Jesus," but we can't even receive this Love, without faith in the One He sent.
God's Love has come through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus and by Grace, is available to all who will believe, but it can't come without faith in what He has done by Grace. When we believe or put faith in His Truth, then it is now pleasing to Him. When people die without believing, it grieves the heart of Love Himself. That's why, "Without faith, it's impossible to please Him."
Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith, because He allowed Himself to be abased and crucified, having faith that the Father would and could raise Him up out of the pit. This kind of faith brings glory to our Father, Who is the Source of faith. When we lean on Him as our Father and know His intentions for our lives through Jesus, then He is pleased by our faith and trust.

Lesson 48 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over all the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
God created man in His Image. We do the same today, sharing our DNA with our natural children and giving them our characteristics. Genesis 2:7 (Amplified) says, "Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Breath or Spirit of Life, and man became a living being." God's man was a spirit being, with a natural body, just like mankind is today. Adam and Eve had no need (even in their physical bodies), that the Father had not anticipated and provided for.
Paul writes about how the new creation people being restored back into an even better place that Adam was, in 2Corinthians 5:17. We're not only God's children, but we're now joint heirs with Jesus Himself. We've lived so long in only a natural environment, that we've lost faith and understanding of the Spirit realm, in which we've been born-again. God has seen and provided for every need, His family would ever have. He has provided for all our Spiritual lives, as well as our natural lives.
God anticipated all our needs for the new creation people who are now alive, through Jesus' Sacrifice. We've no longer under Law, but Grace. We don't have need for more sacrifice, because we've been redeemed and owe no debt to repay, in the Spirit realm. We must receive the Power of what Jesus did on our behalf and apply it to our natural man, here and now. We've taken all Spiritual things and tried to apply them from the outside into the spirit, instead of from the spirit to the natural.
This is backwards to the Laws of the Spirit, so we continue struggling with healing, Baptism of the Holy Spirit and most all of the free Grace God's Spirit has for mankind. It wasn't like that for Adam and Eve. They received from God in their spirit first, before their flesh could even feel, think, touch, smell or taste what He gave them. Once their spirit received these things, their flesh simply obeyed the spirit. We've grown up backward to this. Our natural man wouldn't receive the Spiritual things of God, unless our senses could identify them. Now, we've come to a place where we refuse to believe the Spirit realm, unless our senses can identify them. The Gifts God's Grace provides for us, are without Power in our lives. We must renew our minds, like Paul instructs in Romans 12:2, so we can accept what Grace has provided for us now. We continue trying to figure our what we need to do, in order to "get God to heal, prosper, Bless or provide many other Blessings and Gifts in our lives", while He has already freely given us these things.
Most of God's Gifts of Grace aren't manifested in our Christian lives today, because we don't know how to simply receive them by faith in the Finished Work of Jesus. We didn't need to do anything, except believe, when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We struggle to realize that we only need to believe, in order to receive everything else that He has done for us. Jesus paid for our freedom, in every area of our lives, just like He paid for the remission of our sin. We receive all the rest of our salvation, just like we received our cleansing from sin. Our feelings get in the way of our faith, making it difficult to receive and believe. All things have been restored back to God's Original Intent for His family, but we don't understand things of the Spiritual realm, because of our carnal way of thinking. This Revelation comes from God's Word and His Spirit, through and in, our born-again spirit.
We can read God's Word and know it in our minds and intellect, but the Revelation of what we've read can only come in and through our spirit. When our spirit has Revelation of God's Word, our flesh must submit to the spirit. Until then, our carnal man will still dominate our spirit. We "clean-up" the outer-man of his/her bad habits, but we still remain carnal and allow the flesh to rule.
We've failed to educate the outer-man by the inner-man and continued allowing the old carnal man to rule, just like it did before we were born-again. Our carnal mind cannot accept anything it doesn't understand. Even though we're free, we continue to walk under the control of the flesh and we suffer the consequences of sickness, depression and the other things this world brings on mankind. Today's Church doesn't seem to know what our being redeemed means. We think it means we've been forgiven and are going to Heaven. The carnal mind can't accept the Truth that Heaven has now come to live in our body.
Many struggle with the Truth that we're not just forgiven, but our sins are done away with and we're now righteous in God's eyes, because of Jesus. Your spirit man has received this Truth, but your carnal man/woman doesn't have any understanding of this yet. Most of us still see ourselves as "sinners in God's eyes."
This is a failure of having our spirit man/woman seeing the Truth of the Finished Work of Jesus. We continue trying to walk under self-made laws, in order to achieve what Jesus has already done for us, instead of receiving the fullness of what Jesus has already done by Grace. The "unclaimed riches of Grace" haven't entered in by Revelation, to where faith can accept them. Remember, "Grace and Truth came by and through Jesus Christ," according to John 1:17 (Amplified) which says, "For while the Law was given through Moses, Grace (unearned, undeserved favor) and Spiritual Blessing and Truth, came through Jesus Christ."
We don't need to "work for," but must simply accept the Spiritual Blessing that came through Jesus. We must simply accept them by faith, in what Jesus has already done, just like we received our salvation. We didn't do anything to "deserve" being saved and we didn't have to accomplish anything to get salvation. We simply believed what Jesus did and what He said. Just like we received salvation, we receive everything else Jesus has done for us. Your new creation spirit man/woman, already knows these things, but the carnal mind is blocking the manifestation of it. We still function in the spirit, like we did before being born-again, allowing our carnal mind to rule. Our spirit is held captive from all these Spiritual Blessings, by the carnal, natural man who ruled us, before being saved. We've educated the carnal mind, but the carnal mind fights against Revelation and hates to give up it's rule over you.
God created man in His Image. We do the same today, sharing our DNA with our natural children and giving them our characteristics. Genesis 2:7 (Amplified) says, "Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Breath or Spirit of Life, and man became a living being." Lesson 47 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
When God made man at the beginning, man was to be immortal and live forever in his natural body and in total communion with God. Man had a physical body, in which to contact this physical world and he had a soul, which is his mind, will, and emotions. God gave man five senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing and seeing, in order to correctly use his physical body. Man received direction from God the Father, through his spirit. This allowed him to grow up into the father of all physical beings produced from his natural seed. God planned for His family to have complete authority over the earth and everything in it, according to Genesis 1:26-27.
Through an act of his will, Adam bowed his knee to satan in the Garden of Eden, transferring all the authority God had given him over to satan. Satan then became the god of this earth, instead of Adam. Luke 4:6-7 (Amplified) tells us, "Then [satan] said to [Jesus], To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and Grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me just once, it shall all be Yours." This wouldn't have been a temptation for Jesus, if what satan said here, wasn't true.
Jesus came to restore mankind back into God's Original Intent, when He made man. Man was to have a body and spirit, like God had a body and Spirit. Adam's sin resulted in death. Adam died spiritually, the very moment he sinned and physical death followed his act of treason. "Spiritual death" doesn't refer to failing to exist, but it's separation from God, Who is Life. Adam's sin led to his being spiritually separated from God and his spiritual death was instantaneous. Adam's physical death followed sometime in the future.
When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were saved and connected to God again, in our spirit. We have eternal life in Him, again. Our physical body in still the instrument of sin and is still dead. God will raise it up again and restore us back to His Original Intention, from the beginning. 1Corinthians 15:53-54 (Amplified) says, "For this perishable part of us must put on the imperishable nature, and this mortal part of us, this nature that is capable of dying, must put on immortality (freedom from death). And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this that was capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the scripture that says, Death is swallowed up, utterly vanquished forever in and unto victory."
John also writes about this in 1John 3:2 (Amplified), saying, "Beloved, we are even here and now God's children: it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be hereafter, but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall as God's children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is." This will be the total restoration into God's Original Plan. We're not going to be spirits that float around in space, but we'll be like our Heavenly Father intended from the beginning. We'll have a body that is glorified, where our new creation spirit will live in, just like Jesus has now. We'll live in total relationship with our Father and be able to simultaneously live in this physical world and the Heavenly or Spiritual world, once again.
We'll live in and also work with the Father, in the new world and the stellar heavens, as He creates more universes, if He so pleases. This was the Plan God had for His family, to begin with. I believe that Adam could see all the things around him on earth, with his natural eyes, while simultaneously seeing the angels and Heavenly things, with the eyes of his spirit. Adam contacted the natural elements of earth, with his natural body, while contacting the Heavenly things of God, with his spiritual body. Adam had dominion over the earth, while living on the earth, just like the Last Adam did. Jesus walked on water, stopped storms and commanded the fish of the sea, just like the First Adam did, before falling from Grace.
At the Lord's return, we'll live on throughout eternity, in a state of the Glory of God. There won't be hospitals, jails, armies, police, orphanages, hunger, death, separation from our loved once, grief, sorrow, fear of anything, ever again, for those who are in Christ Jesus. This was God's Original Intent and He will bring it to pass. While we're here on earth, our natural bodies are now dying and are capable of death, but our new creation spirits are alive and filled with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Ephesians 1:19-20 (Amplified) says, "So you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing Greatness of His Power in and for us who believe; as demonstrated in the working of His Mighty Strength which Hes exerted in Christ when He raised Him up from the dead and seated Him at His Own right hand in the Heavenly places."
The same Holy Spirit and Power that raised Jesus from the dead, is now alive and active in and for us. It has also raised us from the dead. Even our mortal bodies will be changed into a body like His, by this same Power. This Power is already dwelling in us even now, while we're on this earth. Ephesians 1:19 says, "So you can know and understand this Power in and for us, by God's Holy Spirit." We've been slow to understand who God has already made us to be. We've been taught that these things aren't for us here on earth, but only for when we die and go to Heaven. 1John 3:2 (Amplified) tells us though, "Beloved, we are even here and now God's children: it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be hereafter, but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall as God's children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is."
I don't know what Jesus actually looks like. We see Him from the scriptures, in His natural form. He was still in His earthly appearance in the Gospels, but we'll have to wait and see what He truly looks like. Paul writes in 2Corinthians 5:16 (Amplified), "Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a purely human point of view (in terms of natural standards of value). No, even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a Man, yet now, we have such knowledge of Him that we know Him no longer in terms of the flesh."
It's exciting to read what Paul writes to the Church, from his Revelation through Jesus, about who we now are in Jesus. We're not only changed to live with Him in Heaven, but changes so He can live in us now on earth. I don't have to wait until I leave this earth, in order to be with Him. He has already committed to "never leaving or forsaking me." He will also live in me and manifest Himself to me. God is revealing Himself to us through His Word, in this Year of Understanding, in ways we haven't dared to believe before.
Many in today's Church misunderstand our moving from Law to Grace. There was only one Law in God's Original Intention for His family and that was, "Don't eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil." Adam only knew the "good," before his fall. God never intended for His children to know evil and calamity. Adam and Eve walked with the Father, without knowing anything except the Goodness of God, until they fell into satan's trap. Until that time, they never knew sickness, lack or torment of any kind.
This is where we're delivered back to now, but we still must learn how to walk in believing God's Word. Adam and Eve walked with God here on earth, in flesh and blood bodies, while simultaneously living and walking in all God's Spiritual Blessings. We've somehow put off the Spiritual things, for when we leave our natural bodies and go to Heaven. Adam didn't do this and neither did Jesus. They both lived in a natural body, while still simultaneously functioning in the fullness of the Spirit.
Ephesians 1:3 (Amplified) says, "May Blessing, praise, laudation, and eulogy be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), Who has Blessed us in Christ with every Spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) Blessing in the Heavenly realm." We've separated these Blessings for being when we die and get to Heaven, instead of for when we're in this earthly realm. This has held back, what God actually desires to do for us now, in this realm. This scripture tells us that now that we're born-again in the Spirit realm like God intended, the Blessing from the Holy Spirit is once again ours, in this realm. Every Blessing and advantage of the Spirit, is now ours in this realm, as well as when we leave this earth. This is why we can, like Paul says, "Glory in our infirmities or weaknesses, because when we're weak in our strength, then God's strength is made perfect and we live in His Strength. Being born-again, doesn't mean that our natural bodies can handle spiritual opposition, but when our natural strength isn't enough, we're Blessed and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, by our new birth, into the Spiritual realm with every Spiritual Blessing.
When natural strength isn't enough and our strength has failed, then His Strength is made perfect in our weakness. Through Jesus, the Strength of God and all the authority of the Spiritual realm is ours again, by the Power of His Name, the Name of Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus restored and redeemed us back into the place we fell from in the heavenlies. Our natural body is still weak in itself, but we are no longer in ourselves, but in Him and His Holy Spirit now lives in us.

Lesson 46 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) reads, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
This was God's Original Intention, for His family and the earth. He left nothing out and furnished everything man would ever need. Genesis 1:31 (Amplified) says, "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it completely. And there was evening and morning, a sixth day." God never needed to go back and created another tree, piece of fruit or blade of grass. He created everything with it's own seed, in which to reproduce itself. God never created another thing after that time, except for the Church.
Thus, we read in 2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified), "Therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come." Genesis 2:17 tells us that God's creation and the covenant relationship He had with mankind, consisted of only one thing...man's not eating of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. God tells Adam and Eve, "But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and Blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." It was only in the third chapter of Genesis, that we read about Adam's failing to uphold the one simply part of the relationship between God and man.
God then tried to make covenant with one man after another, but the men wouldn't or couldn't uphold their part. Mankind's sliding further and further into the Curse, where disease entered his body because of Adam's sin. In the new covenant, God didn't make covenant with such a man as Adam, but God made covenant with Himself, the Last Adam, Who is Emanuel God with us. By the agreement of faith through Abraham, God could finally fulfill the Promise of the Seed, into the earth.
The Law of Genesis from Genesis 1:12, says that everything produces after kind and has within it, it's own seed. Through Abraham, God has put into place, the Promise of His Seed, according to Hebrews 6:13 (Amplified), which says, "For when God made His Promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear." Jesus is the Seed of His Promise, becoming the Guarantee of that Promise. Hebrews 7:22 (Amplified) says, "In keeping with the oath's greater strength and force, Jesus has become the Guarantee of a better, stronger, agreement; a more excellent and more advantageous covenant." This covenant is ironclad and Blood bought. IT CANNOT BE BROKEN.
Like He did with the first creation, God provided everything we'd ever need for both here and hereafter, in the new creation. Adam never needed to work for his provisions, because God had supplied it all. After his transgression, Adam had to provide for himself. In this new creation family, everything we need for both here and hereafter, has already been provided in Christ Jesus. 2Peter 1:3 (Amplified) says, "For His Divine power has bestowed upon us all things that are requisite and suited to life and godliness through the full personal knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His Own Glory and Excellence (virtue)."
God has provided for this new creation, just like He did for His first creation, Adam. God has foreseen all of our needs and has provided for them, BY GRACE, through the full personal knowledge of Jesus. We use faith to access what Grace has already made available. Faith doesn't produce what we need, it only accesses what Grace has already created and made ours, in Christ Jesus. Romans 4:16 (Amplified) says, "Therefore, inheriting the Promise is the outcome of faith, and depends entirely on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of Grace (unmerited favor) to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants, not only devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham who is thus the father of us all." Faith doesn't make it happen, because Grace has already provided it. Faith only receives what Grace has now made ours in Christ Jesus.
As you reflect on God's Awesome Gift of Jesus, Who is Love this Christmas season, remember that everything is provided in Him. You don't need for "God to do it," you must simply receive what He has already done by putting your faith in His Gift of Love. Merry Christmas.
This was God's Original Intention, for His family and the earth. He left nothing out and furnished everything man would ever need. Genesis 1:31 (Amplified) says, "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it completely. Lesson 45 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
God's Original Intent was and still is, that mankind were to be in His Image and Likeness. We were to the family that God's great heart of Love yearned for. The Father intended to lavish His Love upon us, as His family. He intended for us to relate to and fellowship with Him. Our Heavenly Father intended to lavish His Love upon us and watch us grow into those who would bring joy to His heart. God could watch His family grow and flourish in His Presence and favor. He intended to show us all the mysteries of life.
Genesis 1:31 (Amplified) says, "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very Good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day." Genesis 2:1-2 (Amplified) goes on, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His works which He had done." God didn't rest, because He was tired. He rested, because His work was complete, finished and didn't nothing anything further.
We don't read about God creating anything else after this, until He created the Church in 2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified), which says, "Therefore, if any person is ingrafted in Christ (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."
God rested after completing all of the works of creation. God never needed to recreate anything, because He made everything to procreate by seed, which would maintain His creation. God never needed to recreate a new tree, because the tree held a seed in it and that seed would continue in God's finished work. After He completed and finished His creation, God rested from all He had done.
Genesis 1:12 (Amplified) says, "The earth brought forth vegetation; plants yielding seed according to it's own kinds and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to it's kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable), and He approved it." This was and is the Law of Genesis, that everything produces after kind. Everyone and everything has seed within it, in which to procreate after itself. God rested in His approved creation, after doing all this. God created everything man would ever need, throughout existence. There was nothing lacking in God's Plan for His family.
When we were born-again and became new creations, we were also born of a Seed, Who was and is the Word of God, Jesus Christ. This Seed after Kind, was first sown into the womb of a virgin named Mary, according to Luke 1:35 (Amplified), which says, "Then the Angle said to [Mary], The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the Most High will overshadow you like a shining cloud; and so the holy, pure, sinless Thing, Offspring which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God."
John 1:14 (Amplified) says, "And the Word, Christ, became flesh (human, incarnate), and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile among us); and we actually saw His Glory, His Honor, His Majesty, such Glory as an only begotten Son receives from His father, full of Grace, favor, loving kindness, and Truth." Jesus, the Word, is the Seed that produces after kind, according to the Law of Genesis. 1Peter 1:23 (Amplified) says, "You have been regenerated (born-again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from One that is Immortal by the Ever Living and Lasting Word of God."
When Jesus had received the sour wine on the cross in John 19:30 (Amplified), He said, "It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit." When something is finished, then there's nothing more that needs to be done, in order to complete it. Jesus had finished and completed everything that mankind would ever need again, in God's new creation. Hebrews 4:3 (Amplified) instructs, "For we who have believed (adhered to, and trusted in and relied on God), do enter in that Rest; in accordance with His declaration that those who did not believe should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter My Rest: And this He said, Although His works had been completed and prepared and waiting for all who would believe, from the foundation of the world."
Those who are a new creation and born of the Same Seed Jesus was born from, are to Rest in the Finished Work of the First Seed. There's nothing that hasn't been finished and made available for us, in this Master Seed of Creation. This was and is God's Plan, since the beginning. All that mankind will ever need, is already in the spirit of God's new creation family---IT IS FINISHED!
God has already provided Life, Blessing, authority, healing, Love, wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, holiness and purity, in Jesus. We've been working to get, everything that Jesus has already provided in this new creation. He has rested from all His work and we're to rest in His Finished Work. The people in the Wilderness limited the Holy One of Israel and grieved Him, when they didn't believe God was able to do what He said He would do. Like those people, we continue asking God to do what He's already done, in this new creation. We ask for faith, healing, Blessing and so many other things that are already our's in the Finished Work of Jesus. All these things are our's already, in the Finished Work of the Seed, Who is the Word of God, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
The Church must learn that what God has Promised is already our's. We've been putting off His Promises, believing they're for when we die and go to Heaven, but they're for while we're still on this earth. God has rested from His work in Genesis , where He created His Original Intention for His family. The Church, the new creation people in Jesus Christ, is the only thing He's created since. We're to enter into His Rest with Him and trust in God's ability to do what He said He would do. Growing in wisdom and understanding of who and what we already are, is the labor we're to endure, in order to enter into that Rest. We still struggle with condemnation and the natural things of the world. We must learn the Truth of God's Promises, in order to grow in Him.
3John 1:2 (Amplified) says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers." The soul is where we struggle with rest. Your spirit already knows and is prosperous and well. Our senses or soulish part, is where we've been educated by the world, instead of God's Word. The labor part of entering God's Rest, happens in our carnal minds and not our spirit. Revelation of Truth is where we now have our struggle. Everything we'll ever need, is already our's in Jesus.
The Same Seed, the Word, that impregnated Mary, is the Same Seed that gave birth to us. Everything produces after kind. An acorn will always produce an Oak tree. The Seed (the Word) that produced Jesus, is the Same Seed that produced the new creation child of God. It might not be the same tree, but it's one just like it. Every tree bearing the seed will always produce the same kind of tree.
We might look different, in these earthly houses we live in and we might not be the same in our understanding, but we were all born out of the Same Seed, the Seed of God's Word. We all the world to make divisions in the Church, when we see our differences. God, though, sees us all the same. The Word of salvation will always produce the same fruit every time. We might grow in the Truth of who we are, in different ways here on earth, but in God, we're all the same. A little Oak tree is still an Oak tree. A new Christian might not know the things others know, but he/she is still a new creation and of the Same Seed as his/her brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
Did Jesus lack for anything, when God sent Him here? The Wisemen brought gifts that provided for Him, as a Child. The fish provided money for Jesus' taxes, while the loaves and fishes provided for Jesus, His disciples and the crowd. God even provided wedding wine, for Mary's friends. All things were finished from God's creation work, in the beginning.
God's Original Intent was and still is, that mankind were to be in His Image and Likeness. We were to the family that God's great heart of Love yearned for. The Father intended to lavish His Love upon us, as His family. He intended for us to relate to and fellowship with Him. Lesson 44 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
We read in Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified), "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
John 1:16-17 (Amplified) says this about our Savior, "For out of His fullness (abundance), we have all received, (all had a share, and were all supplied with), one Grace after another and Spiritual Blessing upon Spiritual Blessing and even favor upon favor and Gift heaped upon Gift. For while the Law was given through Moses, Grace (unearned, undeserved favor) and Spiritual Blessing and Truth, came through Jesus Christ."
We have received the Father's Original Intention for the family He created and the home He created for them, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We've never been taught the unclaimed riches of God's Grace. Through Grace and faith in Jesus, God has restored everything mankind lost through Adam's transgression. We've struggled to "become righteous enough to receive God's Blessing and favor." We've tried to "get God to heal us and move in our lives," without much success. We've worked to qualify, in order to have our prayers answered, through fasting and other works.
We can unwrap God's Christmas Gift to mankind and discover what was wrapped in flesh and swaddling clothes, in the manger. 2Corinthians 5:16 (Amplified) says, "Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a purely human point of view (in terms of natural standards of value). No, even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, YET NOW have such knowledge of Him that we know Him no longer in terms of the flesh."
Paul writes to the Church in Ephesians 2:4-5 (Amplified), "But God-so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense Love with which He Loved us. Even when we were dead (slain) by (our own) shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ: He gave us the very Life of Christ Himself, the same new Life with which He quickened Him, for it is by Grace (His favor and mercy) which you did not deserve that you are saved (delivered from judgement) and make partakers of Christ's salvation."
Paul also writes in Ephesians 1:17-20 (Amplified), "For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Father of Glory), that He may grant you a spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him. By having the eyes of your heart flooded with Light so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His Glorious inheritance in the saints (His set apart ones). And so you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His Power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His Mighty strength Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His Own right hand in the Heavenly places."
Paul prayed that believers would "know and understand God's great Power (the same Power that raised Jesus from the dead) for and in us." Colossi ans 1:13-14 (Amplified) says, "The Father has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love In Whom we have our redemption through His Blood which means the forgiveness of our sins."
Everything we see, hear, and read about what our Lord and Savior has done on our behalf, is past tense. Our forgiveness and salvation was bought and paid for before we were even born, over two-thousand years ago, in Jesus. Grace provided it to the whole world, but faith had to believe and partake of it. Jesus' Sacrifice bought and paid for our redemption from the Curse of the Law of Sin and of Death. Our healing and peace was paid for, by the stripes Jesus bore on His back. We've been trying to get God to do, what He has already done through Jesus. We didn't have to "make God save us, but we only had to believe that He already had, according to His Word, which tells us, "If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, then you will be saved." Salvation has already been done in Jesus. We only had to believe what God had already done, in order to be saved. There was nothing left for God to do, in order for us to be saved. We only needed to believed in what Jesus had already done.
Grace has already provided for everything we will ever need for here and hereafter. Our part is to believe and have faith in the Finished Word of Christ Jesus. We receive our healing, like we received forgiveness of our sins. We have faith in His Grace. Paul prayed for Revelation and understanding in Colossi ans 1:9 (Amplified), saying, "For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it [their Love in the Holy Spirit] have not ceased to pray and make special request for you, asking that you may be filled with the full, deep, and clear knowledge of His will in all Spiritual Wisdom (in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), and in understanding and discernment of Spiritual things."
Some believe this is "too good to be true,"but when you received Jesus as your Savior, then you received the whole package." We quote Romans 10:9-10, in order to lead others to Christ, but we don't read Verses 6-8 (Amplified) where Paul declares that our salvation "isn't having Jesus come down from Heaven to save us, nor do we have to have Him raised from the dead again, but we only believe in what He has already done." Thus, Paul writes through the Holy Spirit, "The Word (God's Message in Christ), is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is the Word, the basis and object of faith which we preach."
We don't need for Jesus to die on Calvary's cross again and He doesn't need to be raised from the dead again. We don't need for Jesus to be scourged and punished again, so that we can receive our peace, salvation, healing, righteousness, justification, forgiveness of our sin, or so we can enter into His Blessing and become joint heirs with Jesus. We're only required to believe in Jesus' Finished Word, in order to obtain these Great Gifts of Grace. We receive all these things, by faith in God's Grace, just like we believed for salvation. Grace has already provided everything and Jesus doesn't have to do it again. When you believed by faith in the salvation God's Grace provided, you also received everything else that was in the Redemptive Blood of the Lamb. You already have it.
We've never understood the depth of our salvation. We've thought that God had to do it, when He already has. It's already in your new creation spirit and only needs to be manifested in your physical body. This Christmas, let's unwrap the Gift of Jesus, without being afraid of messing up the bow and beautiful wrapping paper. Let's look into the very depth of what was in Bethlehem's manger, seeing more than a Baby. Let's see God's Plan of restoring us back into the Original Intention He had for us. Let's see the depth of God's pleasure and Love for us. When we understand the depth of His Love for us, we'll understand that He left nothing undone or to chance. Our deliverance was wrapped in flesh and in this flesh, is God Himself, Emmanuel.
Lesson 43 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
Man was first created a spirit, like God. Man was to have authority over all the earth, according to Genesis 2:7 (Amplified), which says, "Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Breath or Spirit of Life, and man became a living being." God created man in His Likeness and to be like Him, in every way. God formed man's body out of the ground and breathed that spirit into that body, so the body became a living being. Man was to walk and rule from his spirit and have contact with the natural world around him with his body and five senses.
No one knows how long Adam walked in his earthly body on earth, but he ruled and lived by his spirit during that time. Genesis 3:17 (Amplified) says, "And to Adam He (God) said, Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a Curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat of the fruits of it all the days of your life."
The Curse wasn't God's doing, but was the result of Adam's choosing to disobey God. Adam had been given complete authority over all the earth and everything in it and he was the one who turned that authority over into satan's hands. Adam's transgression caused the earth and everything in it, to be under the authority of an outlaw spirit (satan), who had nothing in him except death. The sin was man's disobedience and betrayal and death came because mankind was now in subjection to a spirit who had no life and "the wages of sin is death." Romans 5:12 (Amplified) says, "Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as a result of sin, so death spread to all men, no one being able to stop it or to escape it's power, because all men sinned."
Many believe that God cursed the earth and cursed all men to sin and death. The Law of Genesis tells us though, in Genesis 1:12 (Amplified), "The earth brought forth vegetation; plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable), and He approved it." Everything in and on the earth had seed and was to produce after it's kind. This was God's Plan. Adam was to produce seed, that would produce after his kind. He was to produce men and women, after and in, the Likeness of God.
Sin took it's toll and death had become Adam's new nature, causing his seed to produce nothing but sin and death, from that day until now. Adam couldn't produce offspring in the Image and Likeness of God any longer, because his seed was under his self-induced Curse. Adam's new spiritual father was a dead spirit and could only produce death in Adam and all his seed. This was never God's Original Intent for His creation and family.
God could extend man's physical lives to a degree, when we placed faith in His Word, but He couldn't stop the progress of sin and death, without first restoring our spirit man again with Life. Romans 5:19 (Amplified) says, "For just as by one man's disobedience, failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness, the many were constituted sinners; So by One Man's obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him)." Jesus is the Righteous Seed and He brought Life and right standing with God to man, once again. 1Peter 1:23 (Amplified) says, "You have been regenerated (born-again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from One that is Immortal by the Ever Living and Lasting Word of God."
Through the Ever Living and Lasting Word of God, Who is the Seed Jesus, we've been restored back into God's Original Intent. We are spirit beings, who are living in physical bodies, led by His Holy Spirit and are in authority and Ever Lasting Life again. We've been given the Power of Attorney to us the Name Above All Names, and "at the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of beings in Heaven, in the earth, and those under the earth, to the Glory of God."
The original man is once again in God's Own Image and Likeness, through the new creation, which is born of the Seed, Who is the Word of God Jesus Christ. We are spirit, living in a body of flesh, and we have a soul that's been dominating mankind since Adam's fall. We are alive in God and alive unto God, once again. We've lived by our senses (our soulish man) for so long, that we don't know how to live by our spirit man. Paul instructs us to renew our minds with God's Word in Romans 12:2. He was speaking about returning to God's Original Intent and our walking in the Spirit. Romans 8:7 (Amplified) says, "That is because the mind of the flesh, with it's carnal thoughts and purposes, is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law, indeed it cannot."
Since Adam's fall, mankind has lived by our senses and we knew no other way, until we were born-again. Our new creation person must learn how to walk by our spirit, like Adam did before the fall. We must renew our minds by God's Word and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and teach us. This requires us to spend time in God's Word and in His Presence. This comes by observing and continuing in trail, patience and faith in what He has Promised us, in Jesus. When we were toddlers, we saw everyone around us walk and we wished to walk too. We couldn't walk at first, but we didn't quit trying to do so, saying "Walking isn't for everyone." We continued trying to walk, until we made it. The same is true for walking in the spirit. We must persist, until we become good at it.
Everything in life came in degrees. We didn't learn how to speak, walk, count, or dress ourselves, without patience and practice and it's no different in the spirit realm. We persisted in our efforts to walk and talk alone, until we could do it for ourselves. Don't stop learning to walk in the spirit, just because some people quit. Don't use them as your example, because there's no end to what you can learn and know about walking with your Heavenly Father. We have God's Word and His Spirit to teach us "all things." This was and is, God's Original Intent for His family. He wanted us to know Him.
Let's take the time, even in this hectic season, to unwrap God's Christmas Gift to us. Let's see what Gifts He has brought. Don't just admire the Package, but unwrap it and see the fullness of this Awesome Gift of Love. Life, health, Blessing, peace and righteousness are only a few things you'll see, as you unwrap Christmas this year. Inside God's Gift of His Son, you'll find God's Original Intent for you. It's been given to all who will believe and it has been given to us freely and in Love, so that we can enjoy with Him and in Him.

Lesson 42 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) tells us, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
God gave them one command and made man responsible to not eat of the Tree of Knowledge in Genesis 2:17 (Amplified) saying, "But of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil and Blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
Adam went onto live for "930 years, and he died," according to Genesis 5:5. Anyway you choose to look at it, Adam died that very day he disobeyed God's order. The moment Adam partook of the Tree, he died in his spirit and was separated from God, in his spirit. 2Peter 3:8 (Amplified) says, "Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." Either way, Adam died that day.
Paul writes in Romans 5:12,19 (Amplified), "Therefore, as sin came into the world though one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, no one being able to stop it or escape it's power because all men sinned." He goes on in Verse 19, "For just as by one man's disobedience, failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness, the many were constituted sinners, so by One Man's obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him)."
First came the sin and then came death. If Adam hadn't sinned, then we would have lived immortal, in this body and eternal in the spirit. Hebrews 7:26-27 (Amplified) says, "Here is the High Priest, perfectly adapted to our needs, as was fitting-holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners, and exalted higher than the heavens. He has no day by day necessity as do each of these other high priest, to offer sacrifice first of all for his own personal sins, and then for those of the people because He met all the requirements once and for all when He brought Himself as a Sacrifice which He offered up."
So long as the separation of sin was in the world, God was limited on His involvement of men and death still ruled. Adam's sin caused a barrier between God and mankind. The blood of goats and bulls could cover sin for a moment, but it couldn't remove the sin and so long as the sin was present, life in the spirit of man wasn't possible. Romans 3:23-24 (Amplified) says, "Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and Glory which God bestows and received, All are just free and made upright and in right standing with God; freely and gratuitously by His Grace, His unmerited favor and mercy through the redemption which is provided in Christ Jesus."
Jesus paid for all sin and the barrier was between God and man was removed, for all who receive and believe in Him. The Curse was removed and the Blessing and right standing were restored to mankind again. Through Jesus and the new birth, there's no longer a wall or barrier to hold back God from His Original Intent and purpose for mankind. Sin has been paid for and the wages of sin (death) has been abolished, for those who are in Christ Jesus. God can once again, work through and live in and through, this new creation people, just like He desired in the beginning.
The root of sin was Adam's disobedience and we still see the fruit of sin, in the unsaved today. The fruit of sin we see today are adultery, theft, lies and all of the outer stains of the root that brought death and separation from God. Sin has been removed and righteousness has been restored, so God can now move on in His Original Plan for mankind. All that held back the Blessing and fellowship with Him, have been removed. God has a clean state to build upon, in Jesus Christ.
The Strong's Concordance defines the word, "Salvation," from Acts 13:12 as, "Rescue, safety, deliver, health, salvation, save, and saving." The Strong's Concordance defines the word, "salvation," from Acts 28:28 as, "Defense, salvation, heal, preserve, save, do well, make whole, the body as a sound whole, corporate or physical, bodily, deliverer, in God or Christ, Savior." Salvation was never limited to being after we die and leave this body, but is for while we're living here on this earth. We're to take back the authority and Blessing that God gave Adam, through Jesus Christ for our spirit, soul and body.
When we don't receive and accept the whole Plan of salvation, we limit God from restoring His Original Plan for His family. God intent for man to be the under lord of all His creation and work as co-laborers together with Him. We've entered back into a place with God, through Jesus, that doesn't cover only heavenly places and authorities, but over "everything that creeps upon the earth." Our physical healing was restored, when Jesus suffered the whipping on His back. Our peace of mind and well-being were accomplished, when the crown of thorns was placed on His head. The Curse was removed, when the Blessing was restored and Jesus became a Curse for us. The sickness and disease that were under the Curse, were removed from us, by Jesus Christ. We were restored son-ship rights and given the power of attorney to us the Name Above All Names, the Name of Jesus Christ. Satan's power was broken off from us, when Jesus was made sin for us and died for us. The new covenant was established in Heaven, by His Blood. We are truly free indeed.
Don't limit the Promises of God to be for "when we die and leave here." Accept His Promises, today, here and now, in this body and on this earth. We are no longer servants to sin and death, because Jesus paid for everything satan held over us. Romans 8:3 (Amplified) says, "For God has done what the Law could not do, it's power being weakened by the flesh (the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit), sending His Own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an Offering for sin. God condemned sin in the flesh, subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept the Sacrifice."
You were and are, truly free (spirit, soul, and body), when you accepted the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God. You need only to believe the rest of salvation, like you did the forgiveness of sin. It's all been paid for and finished, in Christ Jesus. Satan no longer has any hold on you, except deception.

Lesson 41 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) tells us, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let him have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
The part of us that God created in His Image and Likeness, was our spirit. Jesus said in John 4:24 (Amplified), "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being), and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth (reality)." The flesh part of man was made for contacting this physical world. It was the earthly house that contained our spirit. 2Corinthians 5:1 (Amplified) says, "For we know that if the tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens."
The "tent" Paul writes about, is our earthly body, in which our spirit dwells while we're here on earth. Your spirit dwells in this body and is the part of you which God made in His Own Image and Likeness. In order to be as He is, we must learn to function by and through our spirit. We've only lived, had contact and understood the world, by our senses, since Adam's fall. After Jesus' resurrection, our spirits have been made alive again and in fellowship with the Father again. We never knew how to live by the spirit, before being born-again, so we contained our new creation spirit person in this body and subjected it to only sense knowledge of God.
Our faith has been so limited by natural man's thinking, that the expectations we have for our new creation, born-again spirits, are limited to simply going to Heaven, when we die. This is the most important part of believing for ourselves, but isn't the most important part of our helping others. We hold onto our faith with the Holy Spirit's help and we clean up our natural man from sinning, but we've limited God from using us to set the captives free from the things besetting mankind.
During Jesus' earthly ministry, He produced the will of God even in this natural realm and thus, He revealed the heart of God to those who didn't believe. We will only walk in a very limited reflection of our Heavenly Father, until we understand the Spiritual aspect of our salvation. We usually judge ourselves by such progress we make in the flesh, as not drinking, cussing, fornicating, and stealing. We've neglected the Holy Spirit's teachings of our true person, the one made in God's Image and Likeness. We've remained spiritual babes, in our new creation person.
The struggle to keep our natural man in control, becomes less and less, as we learn to walk by the spirit. When the spirit dominates the flesh,, through the teachings of the Holy Spirit and God's Word, the flesh loses control and we live holy before God. Satan couldn't stop us from becoming born-again once you finally called upon and believed in Christ Jesus, you became a new creation. This act of faith changed your entire destiny and satan no longer had any hold on your spirit. The only thing he had left that could control the new creation, was your fleshly, carnal person that didn't know God.
Satan's master plan was to keep the Church carnal in our thinking, so he could keep the ability of God from working through us. We're disappointed when things don't work like we think they should. I'm amazed when anything works at all, especially when we don't understand the Spiritual Wisdom of God. Grace has carried us this far and it will lead us Home, but Grace is much more than that, when we understand what really took place when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Paul writes about something we must understand more in our lives, in Hebrews 5:14 (Amplified), saying, "But solid food is for full grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to Divine or human law."
Paul instructs us to train our natural man to yield to our new creation man, by God's Word and the Holy Spirit. Our Father created us to be led by our spirit and to have our fleshly, carnal man subject to our spirit. Before being born-again, our fleshly, carnal nature was in control and we were trained by our senses. Our spirit was in subjection to the flesh and the flesh was in subjection to the world. We knew no other way to live.
Now that we're born-again, our spirit is alive and in fellowship with God's Spirit. Now our carnal man is subject to the Spirit and is no longer in control, so we must learn how to train the carnal man from God's Word and His Spirit. Jesus says in "The Parable of the Sower," that "satan comes at once and by force takes away the Message that was sown in the people." We become a threat to satan's kingdom of darkness, when we function in the Spirit. Satan can't prevent our being born-again, but he'll try keeping us ignorant of the Spirit realm. We become dangerous to his kingdom, when we understand who we are and what we have in the Holy Spirit.
Many would be surprised to learn that most of Jesus' earthly walk, was as a Teacher. He spent more time teaching, than doing anything else. After being baptized in the Holy Spirit in the Jordan River, Jesus taught about God's Heavenly Kingdom. He spent three and a half years, teaching His disciples how to carry on His ministry, after He left here. There's a big difference between how the early Church functioned from how today's Church functions.
The signs, miracles, wonders, healing and move of the Spirit that followed the early Church, is noticeably lacking today. This is because the enemy didn't have time to take away the Message that was sown in the hearts of the early Church, like he has today. It took satan nearly three-hundred years to teach the Church to rely on their sense knowledge again and to deny the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Many today teach that the Super-natural functions of the Holy Spirit have "passed away." God hasn't changed, His Word hasn't changed and Jesus hasn't changed, so it must be the Church that has changed. We've been talked out of the Spiritual aspects of our salvation.

Lesson 40 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27,28 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
Verse 28 goes onto to say, "God Blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, using all its vast resources in the service of God and man; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth." This Blessing was God's covenant to mankind, that they would prosper and rule over and have complete authority over the planet, as His family. Adam had the authority and dominion over satan, when this whole things began. Adam didn't use the authority and dominion God had given him, but delegated his God-given authority and dominion over to satan's control.
We sometimes fail to realize that, whatever we don't rule, will rule us. Jesus was tempted by satan and revered the same temptation that Adam faced, in Luke 4:5-8 (Amplified), which says, "Then the devil took [Jesus] up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the inhabitable world in a moment of time (in the twinkling of an eye). And he said to [Jesus], To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity and Grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me, just once, it shall all be Your's. And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord God, and Him only shall you serve."
If Jesus had fallen for the temptation to take back all that satan had offered Him and had not taken rule over satan, then He would have been ruled by satan. This rule of authority was received back to Jesus in Matthew 28:18 (Amplified), which says, "Jesus approached, and breaking the silence, said to them, All authority, all power of rule in Heaven and on earth has been given to Me." Jesus' statement brought all things back into the hands of those, the Father gave it to in Genesis 1:26-28.
Jesus was the Son of man and the Son of God and He restored things back to God's Original intent for mankind. For some reason, we've neglected to take the authority and rule that was given to us through Jesus, just like Adam did. Jesus prays in John 17:22 (Amplified), saying, I have given to them the Glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are One." J
Jesus told the seventy and us today, "Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and physical and mental strength and ability, over all the power that the enemy possesses, and nothing shall in any way harm you."
This same authority and dominion and power that was given to man in Genesis 1:26-28, has now been restored back to the rightful hands of God's family, through Jesus Christ. Most of us have had no idea who we were made to be, when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. The authority in His Name and the power of His delegated dominion, have been hidden from the Church, through the enemy's deception. Like Adam, we've failed to rule over areas of our lives and by doing so, have allowed the enemy to rule over us in these areas.
I don't believe that Adam knew the depth of his transgression and the far reaching consequences that it would bring, until it was too late. If we knew the far reaching consequences of certain things in our lives, then we would never forfeit our authority into the enemy's ability or power. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 (Amplified), "All authority, all power of rule in Heaven and on earth has been given to Me." No power or authority was left to the enemy, so he uses deception.
Through deception, the enemy has busily usurped the authority and dominion of God's Own children, using it against them, like he did with Adam. If you don't understand your position in authority and dominion, then the enemy will "steal, kill and destroy," by any means of deception. Jesus gave "The Parable of the Sower," in Mark 4:14-15,17 (Amplified), saying, "The Sower sows the Word, the ones along the path are those who have the Word sown in their hearts, but when they hear, satan comes at once, and by force takes away the Message which is sown in them."
Jesus tells us in Verse 17, that, "When trouble and persecution arises, it comes on account of the Word, and those who heard became offended, resentful, displeased, and stumbled and fell away." They didn't use the authority and dominion that had been delivered back to them, which resulted in their forfeiting and allowing that authority and dominion to be used against them. God never meant for any of His children to be in subjection to any other power, but His. You don't rely on your neighbor to discipline your children. You're the only person who has that right.
We've been redeemed and restored back into God's Image and Likeness, as Spiritual children again. God deals with us, by and through, our new creation spirit being. God had to deal with those in the old covenant, through the flesh, because their spirit had been separated through Adam's transgression. Now, through Jesus, we've been brought back to God's Original Intent.
Verse 28 goes onto to say, "God Blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, using all its vast resources in the service of God and man; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth." Lesson 39 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) tells us, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female, He created them."
This was and still is, God's Original Intention for His family. We read about the Laws that govern the earth even today in Genesis 1:12 (Amplified), which says, "The earth brought forth vegetation; plants yielding seed according to their own kinds and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable), and He approved it." This Law of Creation still holds to this day. Apple seeds always produce apples and peach seed always produce peaches. Horses always produce horses and dogs always produce dogs. This is the Law of Genesis.
1Peter 1:23 (Amplified) says, "You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from One that is Immortal by the Ever Living and Lasting Word of God." We've been born from the Very Seed of God. According to God's Own Laws of creation, "everything produces after kind." We are born again, after Kind. 1John 3:2 (Amplified) says, "Beloved, we are even here and now God's children; It is not yet disclosed, made clear what we shall be hereafter, but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall as God's children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is."
We pray and call Him, "Father," but somehow we fail to see ourselves as His children and in His Own Likeness. Throughout the years, we've been trained to see ourselves as unworthy sinners or as orphans, who are left out of God's Likeness and Grace. The Awesome Price that was paid to buy us back from sin and the Curse, has been clouded by the carnal minded world. Many longingly wish we could return to the old covenant. Hebrews 7:22 (Amplified) says, "In keeping with the oath's greater strength and force, Jesus has become the Guarantee of a better, stronger, agreement, a more excellent and more advantageous covenant."
God speaks about those who died and lived by faith, under the old covenant, in Hebrews 11:39-40 (Amplified), saying, "And all of these, though they win Divine approval by means of faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was Promised. Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us; So that they, these heroes and heroines of faith, should not come to perfection apart from us, before we could join them."
2Corinthians 1:20 (Amplified) says, "For as many as are the Promises of God, they all find their Yes Answer in Him, Christ. For this reason we also utter the Amen (So be it), to God through Him, in His Person, by His Agency to the Glory of God." If we would only learn to trust in and believe what God has said about us, then we would realize that we were created according to Kind. The Law of Genesis still hold true in our born-again experience, through Jesus Who is the Word and the Seed of God. Jesus is the Same Word Who was made flesh, according to John 1:14 (Amplified), which tells us, "And the Word, Christ, became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled among us."
Jesus is the Same Seed and Word, Who produced the new creation person in 2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified) which says, "Therefore, if any person is ingrafted in Christ (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old previous moral and Spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come." We've been taught to keep focused on the old man of the flesh, that was in a fallen state, instead of seeing ourselves after the Image and Likeness and the One Who birthed us into God's family. We need to see ourselves in our new creation life, instead of fallen men.
Through Jesus, we've been brought back into God's Original Intention for man and family. The Blessing God pronounced on Adam at the beginning, is the very same Blessing we've inherited through Jesus. Galatians 3:14 (Amplified) says, "To the end that through their receiving Christ Jesus, the Blessing Promised to Abraham might come upon the Gentile, so that we through faith might all receive the realization of the Promise of the Holy Spirit."
The Promise of the Holy Spirit became a reality in the Upper Room. Acts 4:2-4 (Amplified) says, "When suddenly there came a sound from Heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were setting. And they were all filled, diffused throughout their souls with the Holy Spirit." Joel prophesied this moment in Joel 2:27-30. Certain circles have made this into a religion and have centered on the speaking of tongues and prophesying, but God's True Intent was to fill His family with Himself and bring us back into communion with Him, like He did in the beginning. We were to be once again in His Image and Likeness and in fellowship with Him, Spirit to spirit. John 4:24 (Amplified) says, "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being), and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (reality)."
This was and still is, God's Original Intent for His children. We are to be of one spirit with Him. We're to be led by, trained by and communicate with Him in Spirit and in Truth. When we deny our birthright and refuse to accept His Promise of being one and righteous in Jesus, we're no longer in Spirit and in Truth, but in the flesh. This is what faith is all about. It's trusting in His Word and not in our carnal mind. Paul writes about God's Word as being a "mirror," in 2Corinthians3:18(Amplified) saying, "And all of us, as with unveiled face, because we continue to behold in the Word of God as in a mirror the Glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His Very Own Image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of Glory to another, for this comes from the Lord Who is the Spirit."
A mirror reflects back to you, who you are and not who you were. When we see ourselves as He sees us, we constantly change into the image we see and that image is our Father. We've been afraid to believe what the Word says about us, fearing we would get into pride and fall from Grace. True pride is denying what God says and continuing in what we call Truth. This is the same as telling God that He has lied to and about us. It's the spirit of unbelief and is what caused those in the Wilderness from entering into His Rest. Hebrews 3:12 (Amplified) says, "Therefore beware, brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him, leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the Living God."
Like those in the Wilderness, we've caused the Promises of God from being manifested in our lives, by standing aloof from Him in unbelief.

Lesson 38 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) tells us, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
When God created mankind, He created them in and as a spirit. Jesus said in John 4:24 (Amplified), "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth." Genesis 2:7 (Amplified) goes on, "Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Breath or Spirit of Life, and man became a living being." The part of you that is in God's Image and Likeness, is your new creation spirit. If you were purple when you received Jesus as your Lord, then you'll still be purple after you're saved or born-again. If you were short when you got saved or born-again, then you'll still be short after receiving Jesus. If you were a women when you got saved or born-again, then you'll still be a woman afterwards. The part of you that changed into His Image and Likeness, was your spirit.
God's Holy Spirit and your born-again spirit, are back in God's Original Intent for mankind. Unlike Adam, after his fall in the Garden, we're once again in a position to be led by and led through our spirit man. Our new creation man is now back into the place of hearing and being led by our spirit, instead of our senses or soulish realm, according to 2Corinthians 5:17.
Our bodies and souls weren't affected by this new birth. We still look the same, think the same way and follow the same way of doing things, like we did before being born-again. We're part of God's new creation family and are to use God's Word and listen to His Spirit, in order to bring the flesh and carnal parts of our being, into subjection to His will. Many have become discouraged in their walk with the Father, because things didn't happen like they thought or heard. This doesn't mean that they "thought wrong or heard wrong." God's Word isn't magic. Magic is a demonic slight of hand or is simple witchcraft.
God's Word must be sown into your spirit and not your intellect, in order to work. The Word is Seed and seed must be sown into good soil, in order to bring about a harvest. Our carnal minds and flesh aren't good soil for Spiritual Seed to take root in. Only our hearts can produce what the Seed of God's Word is designed to do. Your spirit will grow and produce the Spiritual Seed of the Word. The Word is Spirit, the Father is Spirit and you're a spirit. The harvest of Spiritual Seed will produce in and from your spirit and overflow into the soul and body. It must first germinate in your spirit, though.
The senses are necessary for our life on earth. We rely on our five senses, in order to drive vehicles, shop or walk across the street. We need to rely on them, but if we rely on them for spiritual relations, then they won't produce the Truth of God's Word in our lives. We're designed to be led by our spirit, to the place where the senses have led us, before we were born-again. Our five senses or carnal minds, were in charge of everything we did in life, before we were born-again. We relied on our emotions, to the point they dominated every waking moment in our lives. Such out of control emotions as depression, stress, fear, and worry, ruled our lives. We couldn't find a way out of the carnal world, that surrounded us. We looked everywhere, but could't see an answer or a better way, until we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
God created us to have the five senses, in order to contact this physical world, but He never intended them to lead us or dominated our spirit. Hope came through our new birth and when hope entered, faith came into play. We could hear from God by faith, and we finally had The Answer to the hopelessness that blankets all of mankind. Some simply hold faith, in their going to be with God when they die. Others had hope and faith in God's ability to intervene in our lives, while we're here on earth. Both could now see the Light.
The carnal mind instructed us into the realm of what God used to do, but the carnal mind is hostile towards God and cannot understand the Super-natural or the Spirit realm. We decided then, that "God no longer does these great deeds or healings, that He used to do." We were deceived and held in bondage by the devil, even though we've been made free. We've believed that we are saved, but that was the extent of God's Grace and power in our lives here on earth. We believed that if we just lived "right," then someday everything will be okay.
This lie has held God's free children in bondage to the carnal realm, for nearly two-thousand years. Some have dared to believe God at His Word and have moved into the Super-natural realm. Many of them have sadly been ridiculed by the brethren, but God doesn't see them as ridiculous. God spoke more highly of some believers in Hebrews 11. All were men and women of faith, but some stepped into a place of trusting God at His Word, like Joshua and Caleb did. This is the place God wants this generation to step into.
We've remained in the Wilderness for far too long and it's time to enter God's Rest and inherit the Promise. God has held it in reserve, for such a time as this. The Super-natural should be a normal way of living, for the Church today. The Holy Spirit is revealing more in the Revelation of God's Word, than ever before. We have the Epistles, God's Word and the Holy Spirit as our Teacher. The Revelation knowledge He's giving, is now abounding for those who have ears to hear.
Let's never be afraid to trust God in His Promises and His integrity. You must weigh what you hear and learn for yourself. Don't be like those who listened to ten men and didn't seek for themselves. There were nearly two million people in the Wilderness who relied on the reports of those ten men. Those reports of fear and helplessness, caused them to remain in the Wilderness for forty more years. Today, there are many voices like Joshua and Caleb's, but which voice will you believe?
When God created mankind, He created them in and as a spirit. Jesus said in John 4:24 (Amplified), "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth." Genesis 2:7 (Amplified) goes on, "Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Breath or Spirit of Life, and man became a living being." Lesson 37 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent
Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all of the earth; and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
The main reason for teaching God's people the Word, is so they might know Him in a personal way, like Adam and Jesus did. The only way to know Him, is by His Word and His Spirit. The carnal mind cannot know Him, because God is Spirit. Paul writes about the carnal mind in Romans 8:7 (Amplified), saying, "That is because the mind of the flesh with its carnal thoughts and purposes is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law; indeed it cannot."
Jesus says in John 4:24 (Amplified), "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being), and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (reality)." Jesus goes on in John 6:63 (Amplified), saying, "It is the Spirit Who gives Life (He is the Life-Giver); the flesh conveys no benefit whatever (there is no profit in it). The Words (Truths) that I have been speaking to you are Spirit and Life." Mankind has struggled for millennia, about, "Is this God's will?" and "Does God still do these things today?"
John 1:1,14 (Amplified) says, "In the beginning (before all time), was the Word (Christ) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself." Verse 14 says, "And the Word (Christ), became flesh (human, incarnate), and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile among us), and we actually saw His Glory, His honor, His majesty, such Glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of Grace, favor, loving kindness and Truth."
Knowing Jesus, is knowing the Father. John 8:9 (Amplified) says, "Then they said to Him (Jesus), where is this Father of Yours? Jesus answered, You know My Father as little as You know Me, if you knew Me you would know My Father also." To know Jesus, is to know the Father. If you wish to know whether God still heals today, then watch Jesus in His ministry. If you want to know anything about God's Promises to the Church, then watch Jesus. If you want to anything about the Father, then watch Jesus, because He said, "If you knew Me, you would know My Father also."
Hebrews 13:8 (Amplified) tells us, "Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is always the same, yesterday, today, yes and forever to the ages." If Jesus did something during His earthly ministry, then He still does it today. It was God's will when Jesus did it and it's still God's will today. Are we listening to God's Word and His Spirit to receive Revelation or are we listening to the carnal minds of men, which tell us, "God doesn't do these things any longer?" Romans 8:7 (Amplified) says, "That is because the mind of the flesh with its carnal thoughts and purposes is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law, indeed it cannot."
Our carnal, natural minds cannot understand a God Who can speak the universe into existence. Our carnal minds cannot understand a God Who created human beings, so how can we expect our carnal minds understand a God Who can heal those human beings? We can intellectually read God's Word and still not understand what we've read, because the Words are Spiritually discerned. Proverbs 4:7 (Amplified) says, "The beginning of Wisdom is; get Wisdom (skillful and Godly Wisdom)! For skillful and Godly Wisdom is the principal thing. And with all you have gotten, get understanding, discernment, comprehension, and interpretation." This understanding comes only in your spirit. Jesus said, "If you knew Me, you would know the Father."
If we watch Jesus during His earthly ministry, then we could answer many questions that have plagues mankind for two thousand years. If we watch Jesus, then we will know God's will. If Jesus did it, then the Father does it, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus said in John 10:30 (Amplified), "I and the Father are One." You can only truly know God, by your spirit.
When God made mankind, He intended to have fellowship with them and share His Great Heart of Love, with them. Adam walked in this fellowship, until his carnal mind rebelled against the knowledge of God, that was in his spirit. It was the natural, carnal mind of Adam, that turned against his spirit. Adam listened to his wife and saw the fall or change that happened to her. Adam tried to trade the place God had given him, in order to redeem Eve on his own.
The Glory and honor God crowned Adam and Eve with, began to fade from Eve, so Adam tried restoring her back by himself. This was futile then and is still futile today. When we try relying on our own efforts to "fix things," instead of relying on God's Word, we're exchanging the Glory and honor of God for reasonings, in the natural, carnal minds of fallen men.
Romans 10:17 (Amplified) says, "So faith comes by hearing what is told, and what is heard comes by the preaching of the Message that came from the lips of Christ the Messiah Himself." Did you ever hear Jesus say, "God doesn't heal any longer?" When did you ever hear Jesus say, "God only did these things for the Apostles?" Many of the things we're taught today, never came out of Jesus' mouth, but out of the natural, carnal minds of men.
"Faith comes by hearing," so we need to heed what Jesus said. In Mark 4:24 (Amplified), Jesus said, "Be careful what you are hearing. The measure of thought and study you give to the Truth you hear, will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you, and more besides will be given to you who hear."
Faith comes by hearing and faith in God's Word, comes by hearing God's Word (Truth). Faith in Buddha comes by hearing words about Buddha. Faith in communism, comes by hearing words about communism. Jesus admonished, "Be careful what you are hearing." Even satan knows the Spiritual Law of hearing and believing. If something false is said often enough, then it will cause you to put faith in something that is false. That's why Jesus said in the above scripture, "The amount of thought and study you give to the Truth you hear, will be what He will measure back to you, not what is not Truth." God will never measure anything to us, except Truth. Everything else comes from the world.
Jesus says in John 4:24 (Amplified), "God is a Spirit (a Spiritual Being), and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (reality)." The Words (Truths) that I have been speaking to you are Spirit and Life." Mankind has struggled for millennia, about, "Is this God's will?" and "Does God still do these things today?"
John 1:1,14 (Amplified) says, "In the beginning (before all time), was the Word (Christ) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself." Knowing Jesus, is knowing the Father.
