Lesson 47 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent

When God made man at the beginning, man was to be immortal and live forever in his natural body and in total communion with God.  Man had a physical body, in which to contact this physical world and he had a soul, which is his mind, will, and emotions.  God gave man five senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing and seeing, in order to correctly use his physical body.  Man received direction from God the Father, through his spirit.  This allowed him to grow up into the father of all physical beings produced from his natural seed.  God planned for His family to have complete authority over the earth and everything in it, according to Genesis 1:26-27.
Through an act of his will, Adam bowed his knee to satan in the Garden of Eden, transferring all the authority God had given him over to satan.  Satan then became the god of this earth, instead of Adam.  Luke 4:6-7 (Amplified) tells us, "Then [satan] said to [Jesus], To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and Grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me just once, it shall all be Yours."  This wouldn't have been a temptation for Jesus, if what satan said here, wasn't true.
Jesus came to restore mankind back into God's Original Intent, when He made man.  Man was to have a  body and spirit, like God had a body and Spirit.  Adam's sin resulted in death.  Adam died spiritually, the very moment he sinned and physical death followed his act of treason.  "Spiritual death" doesn't refer to failing to exist, but it's separation from God, Who is Life.  Adam's sin led to his being spiritually separated from God and his spiritual death was instantaneous.  Adam's physical death followed sometime in the future.
When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were saved and connected to God again, in our spirit.  We have eternal life in Him, again.  Our physical body in still the instrument of sin and is still dead.  God will raise it up again and restore us back to His Original Intention, from the beginning.  1Corinthians 15:53-54 (Amplified) says, "For this perishable part of us must put on the imperishable nature, and this mortal part of us, this nature that is capable of dying, must put on immortality (freedom from death). And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this that was capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the scripture that says, Death is swallowed up, utterly vanquished forever in and unto victory."
John also writes about this in 1John 3:2 (Amplified), saying, "Beloved, we are even here and now God's children: it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be hereafter, but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall as God's children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is."  This will be the total restoration into God's Original Plan.  We're not going to be spirits that float around in space, but we'll be like our Heavenly Father intended from the beginning.  We'll have a body that is glorified, where our new creation spirit will live in, just like Jesus has now.  We'll live in total relationship with our Father and be able to simultaneously live in this physical world and the Heavenly or Spiritual world, once again.
We'll live in and also work with the Father, in the new world and the stellar heavens, as He creates more universes, if He so pleases.  This was the Plan God had for His family, to begin with.  I believe that Adam could see all the things around him on earth, with his natural eyes, while simultaneously seeing the angels and Heavenly things, with the eyes of his spirit.  Adam contacted the natural elements of earth, with his natural body, while contacting the Heavenly things of God, with his spiritual body.  Adam had dominion over the earth, while living on the earth, just like the Last Adam did.  Jesus walked on water, stopped storms and commanded the fish of the sea, just like the First Adam did, before falling from Grace.
At the Lord's return, we'll live on throughout eternity, in a state of the Glory of God.  There won't be hospitals, jails, armies, police, orphanages, hunger, death, separation from our loved once, grief, sorrow, fear of anything, ever again, for those who are in Christ Jesus.  This was God's Original Intent and He will bring it to pass.  While we're here on earth, our natural bodies are now dying and are capable of death, but our new creation spirits are alive and filled with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.  Ephesians 1:19-20 (Amplified) says, "So you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing Greatness of His Power in and for us who believe; as demonstrated in the working of His Mighty Strength which Hes exerted in Christ when He raised Him up from the dead and seated Him at His Own right hand in the Heavenly places."
The same Holy Spirit and Power that raised Jesus from the dead, is now alive and active in and for us.  It has also raised us from the dead.  Even our mortal bodies will be changed into a body like His, by this same Power.  This Power is already dwelling in us even now, while we're on this earth.  Ephesians 1:19 says, "So you can know and understand this Power in and for us, by God's Holy Spirit."  We've been slow to understand who God has already made us to be.  We've been taught that these things aren't for us here on earth, but only for when we die and go to Heaven.  1John 3:2 (Amplified) tells us though, "Beloved, we are even here and now God's children: it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be hereafter, but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall as God's children resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He really is."
I don't know what Jesus actually looks like.  We see Him from the scriptures, in His natural form.  He was still in His earthly appearance in the Gospels, but we'll have to wait and see what He truly looks like.  Paul writes in 2Corinthians 5:16 (Amplified), "Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a purely human point of view (in terms of natural standards of value). No, even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a Man, yet now, we have such knowledge of Him that we know Him no longer in terms of the flesh."
It's exciting to read what Paul writes to the Church, from his Revelation through Jesus, about who we now are in Jesus.  We're not only changed to live with Him in Heaven, but changes so He can live in us now on earth.  I don't have to wait until I leave this earth, in order to be with Him.  He has already committed to "never leaving or forsaking me."  He will also live in me and manifest Himself to me.  God is revealing Himself to us through His Word, in this Year of Understanding, in ways we haven't dared to believe before.
Many in today's Church misunderstand our moving from Law to Grace.  There was only one Law in God's Original Intention for His family and that was, "Don't eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil."  Adam only knew the "good," before his fall.  God never intended for His children to know evil and calamity.  Adam and Eve walked with the Father, without knowing anything except the Goodness of God, until they fell into satan's trap.  Until that time, they never knew sickness, lack or torment of any kind.
This is where we're delivered back to now, but we still must learn how to walk in believing God's Word.  Adam and Eve walked with God here on earth, in flesh and blood bodies, while simultaneously living and walking in all God's Spiritual Blessings.  We've somehow put off the Spiritual things, for when we leave our natural bodies and go to Heaven.  Adam didn't do this and neither did Jesus.  They both lived in a natural body, while still simultaneously functioning in the fullness of the Spirit.
Ephesians 1:3 (Amplified) says, "May Blessing, praise, laudation, and eulogy be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), Who has Blessed us in Christ with every Spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) Blessing in the Heavenly realm."  We've separated these Blessings for being when we die and get to Heaven, instead of for when we're in this earthly realm.  This has held back, what God actually desires to do for us now, in this realm.   This scripture tells us that now that we're born-again in the Spirit realm like God intended, the Blessing from the Holy Spirit is once again ours, in this realm.  Every Blessing and advantage of the Spirit, is now ours in this realm, as well as when we leave this earth.  This is why we can, like Paul says, "Glory in our infirmities or weaknesses, because when we're weak in our strength, then God's strength is made perfect and we live in His Strength.  Being born-again, doesn't mean that our natural bodies can handle spiritual opposition, but when our natural strength isn't enough, we're Blessed and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, by our new birth, into the Spiritual realm with every Spiritual Blessing.
When natural strength isn't enough and our strength has failed, then His Strength is made perfect in our weakness.  Through Jesus, the Strength of God and all the authority of the Spiritual realm is ours again, by the Power of His Name, the Name of Jesus Christ.  Through His death and resurrection, Jesus restored and redeemed us back into the place we fell from in the heavenlies.  Our natural body is still weak in itself, but we are no longer in ourselves, but in Him and His Holy Spirit now lives in us.
