Lesson 45 THE YEAR OF UNDERSTANDING - Original Intent

Genesis 1:26-27 (Amplified) says, "God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our Image (after Our Likeness), and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His Own Image, in the Image and Likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."
God's Original Intent was and still is, that mankind were to be in His Image and Likeness.  We were to the family that God's great heart of Love yearned for.  The Father intended to lavish His Love upon us, as His family.  He intended for us to relate to and fellowship with Him.  Our Heavenly Father intended to lavish His Love upon us and watch us grow into those who would bring joy to His heart.  God could watch His family grow and flourish in His Presence and favor.  He intended to show us all the mysteries of life.
Genesis 1:31 (Amplified) says, "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very Good (suitable, pleasant), and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day."  Genesis 2:1-2 (Amplified) goes on, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His works which He had done."  God didn't rest, because He was tired.  He rested, because His work was complete, finished and didn't nothing anything further.
We don't read about God creating anything else after this, until He created the Church in 2Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified), which says, "Therefore, if any person is ingrafted in Christ (the Messiah), he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come."
God rested after completing all of the works of creation.  God never needed to recreate anything, because He made everything to procreate by seed, which would maintain His creation.  God never needed to recreate a new tree, because the tree held a seed in it and that seed would continue in God's finished work.  After He completed and finished His creation, God rested from all He had done.
Genesis 1:12 (Amplified) says, "The earth brought forth vegetation; plants yielding seed according to it's own kinds and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to it's kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable), and He approved it."  This was and is the Law of Genesis, that everything produces after kind.  Everyone and everything has seed within it, in which to procreate after itself.  God rested in His approved creation, after doing all this.  God created everything man would ever need, throughout existence.  There was nothing lacking in God's Plan for His family.
When we were born-again and became new creations, we were also born of a Seed, Who was and is the Word of God, Jesus Christ.  This Seed after Kind, was first sown into the womb of a virgin named Mary, according to Luke 1:35 (Amplified), which says, "Then the Angle said to [Mary], The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the Most High will overshadow you like a shining cloud; and so the holy, pure, sinless Thing, Offspring which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God."
John 1:14 (Amplified) says, "And the Word, Christ, became flesh (human, incarnate), and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile among us); and we actually saw His Glory, His Honor, His Majesty, such Glory as an only begotten Son receives from His father, full of Grace, favor, loving kindness, and Truth."  Jesus, the Word, is the Seed that produces after kind, according to the Law of Genesis.  1Peter 1:23 (Amplified) says, "You have been regenerated (born-again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from One that is Immortal by the Ever Living and Lasting Word of God."
When Jesus had received the sour wine on the cross in John 19:30 (Amplified), He said, "It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit."  When something is finished, then there's nothing more that needs to be done, in order to complete it.  Jesus had finished and completed everything that mankind would ever need again, in God's new creation.   Hebrews 4:3 (Amplified) instructs, "For we who have believed (adhered to, and trusted in and relied on God), do enter in that Rest; in accordance with His declaration that those who did not believe should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter My Rest: And this He said, Although His works had been completed and prepared and waiting for all who would believe, from the foundation of the world."
Those who are a new creation and born of the Same Seed Jesus was born from, are to Rest in the Finished Work of the First Seed.  There's nothing that hasn't been finished and made available for us, in this Master Seed of Creation.  This was and is God's Plan, since the beginning.  All that mankind will ever need, is already in the spirit of God's new creation family---IT IS FINISHED!
God has already provided Life, Blessing, authority, healing, Love, wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, holiness and purity, in Jesus.  We've been working to get, everything that Jesus has already provided in this new creation.  He has rested from all His work and we're to rest in His Finished Work.  The people in the Wilderness limited the Holy One of Israel and grieved Him, when they didn't believe God was able to do what He said He would do.  Like those people, we continue asking God to do what He's already done, in this new creation.  We ask for faith, healing, Blessing and so many other things that are already our's in the Finished Work of Jesus.  All these things are our's already, in the Finished Work of the Seed, Who is the Word of God, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
The Church must learn that what God has Promised is already our's.  We've been putting off His Promises, believing they're for when we die and go to Heaven, but they're for while we're still on this earth.  God has rested from His work in Genesis , where He created His Original Intention for His family.  The Church, the new creation people in Jesus Christ, is the only thing He's created since.  We're to enter into His Rest with Him and trust in God's ability to do what He said He would do.  Growing in wisdom and understanding of who and what we already are, is the labor we're to endure, in order to enter into that Rest.  We still struggle with condemnation and the natural things of the world.  We must learn the Truth of God's Promises, in order to grow in Him.
3John 1:2 (Amplified) says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers."  The soul is where we struggle with rest.  Your spirit already knows and is prosperous and well.  Our senses or soulish part, is where we've been educated by the world, instead of God's Word.  The labor part of entering God's Rest, happens in our carnal minds and not our spirit.  Revelation of Truth is where we now have our struggle.  Everything we'll ever need, is already our's in Jesus.
The Same Seed, the Word, that impregnated Mary, is the Same Seed that gave birth to us.  Everything produces after kind.  An acorn will always produce an Oak tree.  The Seed (the Word) that produced Jesus, is the Same Seed that produced the new creation child of God.  It might not be the same tree, but it's one just like it.  Every tree bearing the seed will always produce the same kind of tree.
We might look different, in these earthly houses we live in and we might not be the same in our understanding, but we were all born out of the Same Seed, the Seed of God's Word.  We all the world to make divisions in the Church, when we see our differences.  God, though, sees us all the same.  The Word of salvation will always produce the same fruit every time.  We might grow in the Truth of who we are, in different ways here on earth, but in God, we're all the same.  A little Oak tree is still an Oak tree.  A new Christian might not know the things others know, but he/she is still a new creation and of the Same Seed as his/her brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
Did Jesus lack for anything, when God sent Him here?  The Wisemen brought gifts that provided for Him, as a Child.  The fish provided money for Jesus' taxes, while the loaves and fishes provided for Jesus, His disciples and the crowd.  God even provided wedding wine, for Mary's friends.  All things were finished from God's creation work, in the beginning.
